This expanded Cd version of "Murderock" is above all a tribute to both the legendary Italian master of horror Lucio Fulci and the great English musician Keith Emerson, who also wrote soundtracks for Dario Argento (Inferno 1980), Bruce Malmuth (Night Hawks 1981) and Michele Soavi (The Church 1989). Released in 1985, Murderock is a kind of "Flashdance" that meets "Psycho" and the elements of the case unfold in a real 'Disco Inferno'. The soundtrack released at the time contained eleven tracks, mainly songs for the dance scenes and few "dramatic score" themes. Murderock was reissued for the first time on Cd in 1993 by Japanese label SLC. This release contains four previously unreleased tracks . These pieces provided the background music to the most macabre scenes and will no doubt send a shiver up the spines of all Lucio Fulci and Keith Emerson fans.
