Cinevox was created in 1960 by Cesare Andrea Bixio, founder of Bixio Publishing Group, acknowledged composer and author of the music of the first italian talking movie.
Within its history, Cinevox collaborated with great authors like Ennio Morricone,Piero Piccioni, Piero Umiliani, Armando Trovajoli, Giorgio Gaslini,Nino Rota, Riz Ortolani, Bixio-Frizzi-Tempera , Nicola Piovani,Keith Emerson, Goblin , Pino Donaggio, Andrea Guerra and many more. These artists contributed to create an important catalogue ranging amongst the genres: from beat to lounge, from jazz to progressive rock.
Many Cinevox productions are today considered to be milestones in music history.

It is important to remember the contribution to this genre which was given by the Goblin, the legendary rock band who composed the soundtracks of many films by Dario Argento, like Suspiria, Phenomena and one of Cinevox greatest hits, Deep Red, famous for its immortal theme.
