Released in 1969, "Metti una sera a cena" soundtrack, milestone in Morricone's discography, is acknowledged like a masterpiece of elegance, romanticism and pure sensuality. The lounge-style instrumentation is conducted by Bruno Nicolai and his Orchestra and enhanced by the voice of Edda Dell'Orso and "I cantori Moderni di Alessandroni". This cd contains the nine original tracks plus three bonus tracks such as "Hurry to me", written by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi and Morricone and sung by The Sandpipers, originally recorded exclusively for the English version of the film.
