This soundtrack contains all the most beloved elements of Morricone's film music. The main theme is a lightly romantic tune, that describes the feminine charm of the protagonist. The composer alternates this main theme to dramatic and suspence music, which creates the right sound for the story. In 1975 Cinevox Record published only one single containing “La donna della domenica" (A side-here track n. 18), and “Torino di notte" (track B-here track n. 16). Only in the early 90s, in Belgium, label Prometheus released a Cd with 20 minutes of selected music. This edition, first italian released on Cd ever, includes everything that was recorded in 1975 for the original soundtrack, now restored and digitally re-mastered.
