Two cult soundtracks in Cinevox Record catalogue are back in a brand new version. The label reissues on cd Schock (Libra) and La via della droga (Goblin),
adding extra tracks and unreleased materials. Through the original
mastertapes it was possible to find all the music that was recorded at
the time and that was not used for the movie or released on record. The
unreleased tracks will be especially apreciated by record collectors and
70s movies lovers.

Schock (The Shock)
is a film directed in 1977 by Mario Bava. The soundtrack was composed
by Libra perfectly evokes atmospheres with paranormal sounds, sometimes
poetic and rarefied and sometimes spooky and scary. This new reissue
includes 11 totally unreleased tracks.La via della droga (The heroin busters)
is a 1977 crime film directed by Enzo G. Castellari. The legendary
Goblin created for it fascinating atmospheres ranging from progressive
rock to experimental passages sometimes enriched with ethnic colors,
reflecting the different situations of the plot.
This
new edition contains 26 tracks and uses every note recorded at that
time. Chronology follows that of the recorded takes (“M”). For example,
MAIN TITLES were exactly reconstructed as in the beginning of the film.
Only
a few "M" were actually used and repeated in different scenes in the
final version of the movie and a good part of it was not used by the
production.
